PLANC™ Ebony Basalt brings a bold, contemporary presence to the PLANC™ stone cladding range, combining the deep charcoal-to-black tones of natural basalt with the clean, elongated proportions of the modular system. Its smooth, dense surface and highly consistent colouration create a refined architectural finish with strong visual impact and excellent design control.

Crafted from individually precision-cut pieces of natural basalt and supplied in the fully modular PLANC™ format, this premium cladding system allows designers to create expansive linear compositions with a calm, structured rhythm. The dark surface absorbs and softly responds to changing light, producing subtle tonal shifts that add depth without distracting from the clarity of the overall design.

Its near-black palette is particularly effective when used to create contrast against white render, pale stone, timber, glass, concrete and metal. Whether specified for feature walls, fireplaces, commercial interiors, entrance areas or exterior façades, PLANC™ Ebony Basalt delivers a confident, sophisticated finish suited to both residential and architectural projects.

Manufactured from 100% natural basalt stone, PLANC™ Ebony Basalt reflects the precision cutting, calibration and material quality associated with Norstone cladding systems. Planc™ by Norstone® - Range Overview

The stylish Planc™ range - the art of linear wall cladding

Planc™ is Norstone’s first large format loose stone veneer, opening up the design possibilities like never before. The long widths of each of the individual strips make this product equally suitable for large commercial projects all the way down to the everyday fireplace, kitchen backsplash or feature wall use.

The wider, longer format of this stone cladding range allows the stone’s inherent qualities to express themselves fully – from sprawling ancient mineral formations to subtle tonal variations, this new larger format modular system showcases natural stone at its finest.

Planc stone cladding is equally suitable for modern and traditionally inspired design schemes.

Packaged three strips per set, with the height of the two smaller strips (60mm and 80mm) adding up to the 140mm height of the largest strip, the product can be laid in a variety of patterns including staggered, symmetrical, asymmetrical, or simply whatever catches your eye.

Using over a decade and a half of experience in creating the highest quality stone veneer panels on the market, Norstone® designed and manufactured Planc™ to be a highly calibrated system best set in a dry fit marble style installation without grout joints over flat vertical surfaces.
