Graphite Lavastone Planc™ – volcanic stone cladding with refined texture and large format strips

PLANC™ Graphite Lavastone brings the distinctive character of volcanic stone into a larger, more architectural cladding format, combining the exotic qualities of natural lavastone with the clean, elongated lines of the PLANC™ system. Its mid-to-dark graphite-grey palette is enhanced by a lightly honed surface, creating a soft, silk-like finish that gently reflects light while preserving the depth and individuality of the stone.

Crafted from individually cut lavastone pieces supplied in the modular PLANC™ format, this premium natural stone cladding system allows the material’s organic markings, tonal variation and subtle surface movement to express themselves across larger wall areas. The wider, longer format gives Graphite Lavastone a calmer and more expansive presence than smaller tile systems, making it especially effective on feature walls, fireplaces, commercial interiors and full architectural façades.

Its darker volcanic colour works beautifully alongside black steel, smoked glass, timber, concrete and minimalist interior palettes, offering designers a sophisticated material with both visual strength and tactile refinement. The honed graphite surface introduces a quieter sense of luxury, balancing raw geological character with a more polished architectural finish.

Manufactured from 100% natural lavastone, PLANC™ Graphite Lavastone reflects the precision cutting, calibration and material quality associated with Norstone cladding systems. The result is a striking large format stone veneer that combines volcanic origin, smooth reflective depth and contemporary design flexibility in one distinctive wall finish.

Planc™ by Norstone® - Range Overview

The stylish Planc™ range - the art of linear wall cladding

Planc™ is Norstone’s first large format loose stone veneer, opening up the design possibilities like never before. The long widths of each of the individual strips make this product equally suitable for large commercial projects all the way down to the everyday fireplace, kitchen backsplash or feature wall use.

The wider, longer format of this stone cladding range allows the stone’s inherent qualities to express themselves fully – from sprawling ancient mineral formations to subtle tonal variations, this new larger format modular system showcases natural stone at its finest.

Planc stone cladding is equally suitable for modern and traditionally inspired design schemes.

Packaged three strips per set, with the height of the two smaller strips (60mm and 80mm) adding up to the 140mm height of the largest strip, the product can be laid in a variety of patterns including staggered, symmetrical, asymmetrical, or simply whatever catches your eye.

Using over a decade and a half of experience in creating the highest quality stone veneer panels on the market, Norstone® designed and manufactured Planc™ to be a highly calibrated system best set in a dry fit marble style installation without grout joints over flat vertical surfaces.
