PLANC™ Grey Basalt brings a calm, contemporary character to the PLANC™ stone cladding range, combining the strength and density of natural basalt with the elongated proportions of the modular system. Its smooth surface and highly consistent mid-to-dark grey colour create a composed architectural finish that feels modern, versatile and easy to specify across a wide range of design schemes.

Crafted from individually cut pieces of natural basalt and supplied in the flexible PLANC™ format, this premium cladding system allows designers to build broad linear compositions with a clear, measured rhythm. The subtle tonal depth of the stone adds interest across larger wall areas while preserving the clean, understated appearance that defines Grey Basalt.

Its neutral grey palette works naturally alongside timber, concrete, glass, steel and lighter rendered surfaces, making it equally suited to residential and commercial applications. Whether used on feature walls, fireplaces, reception areas, exterior façades or entrance spaces, PLANC™ Grey Basalt introduces texture and architectural definition without overpowering the surrounding materials.

Manufactured from 100% natural basalt stone, PLANC™ Grey Basalt reflects the precision cutting, calibration and material quality associated with Norstone cladding systems. Planc™ by Norstone® - Range Overview

The stylish Planc™ range - the art of linear wall cladding

Planc™ is Norstone’s first large format loose stone veneer, opening up the design possibilities like never before. The long widths of each of the individual strips make this product equally suitable for large commercial projects all the way down to the everyday fireplace, kitchen backsplash or feature wall use.

The wider, longer format of this stone cladding range allows the stone’s inherent qualities to express themselves fully – from sprawling ancient mineral formations to subtle tonal variations, this new larger format modular system showcases natural stone at its finest.

Planc stone cladding is equally suitable for modern and traditionally inspired design schemes.

Packaged three strips per set, with the height of the two smaller strips (60mm and 80mm) adding up to the 140mm height of the largest strip, the product can be laid in a variety of patterns including staggered, symmetrical, asymmetrical, or simply whatever catches your eye.

Using over a decade and a half of experience in creating the highest quality stone veneer panels on the market, Norstone® designed and manufactured Planc™ to be a highly calibrated system best set in a dry fit marble style installation without grout joints over flat vertical surfaces.
